I use the native RHEL5 dm-multipath with a DS4800 on a Oracle RAC cluster. There is some minor issues with it, which I think is why IBM is pushing RDAC. The issues are some noise in the dmesg-log during boot, when it's scanning for drives, and long boot time if you're using lots of paths and luns. This really isn't more than a nuisance compared to having to maintain the third party RDAC, so I much prefer dm-multipath. DS4800+dm-multipath is supported from Red Hat.
