For pity's sakes, donnella, house demolitions were a collective punishment tactic of the British Mandatory Government in Palestine during the 1936-39 Arab Riots. Like concentration camps were first used by the British Empire in South Africa, when they were collecting the mines in the Afrikaaner states.
