Good grief, that's what they're doing anyway. And guilt isn't even a matter
of interest to the IDF.

Proof. You're making allegations that you fail to provide proof for, then you
wonder why I refuse to bite?

And Arab. And while I'm at it, I distinctly remember someone on this list
mentioning a UN resolution that gave the name "Palestinian" to those who had
been in Palestine for only two years or so. They seemed to think that that
referred only to Arab Palestinians, in spite of their claims that
"Palestinian" before 1967 meant "Jew" - if you are right, that was the UN
bending over backwards to accommodate the Jewish immigrants, illegal and
otherwise.

It would be a good thing to stop and ask yourself, "why?" first of all. In a
land and under a regime where someone can go berserk with a loaded automatic
rifle in a house of religious worship, where weapons are not taken, and in
response to the resulting massacre, the families and relations of the victims
are placed under curfew and the family and friends of the killer - now
thankfully dead - are permitted to rampage through the place of the victims
and destroy it ... well, what sort of penalty do I consider proper for
terrorist attacks?
Israel's behaved in a totally unacceptable and bigotted manner towards the
victims of Gush Emunim and its terrorism. Has it demolished _any_ of the
houses of the supporters of Baruch Goldstein? Of Rabbi Kahane?
Au contraire - I've read comments on this list that praise Israel for allowing
Israeli versions of Austria's Haider and France's Le Pen - Benny Olen - a
seat in Knesset. Saying that it illustrates that Israel has a democracy
mature enough to tolerate such divergences of opinion - the sort of statement
no one's allowed to make about Haider.

I raised this self-same question ages ago, with the question about whether or
not I'd be allowed a "right of return" to Saxony, since a good many of my
ancestors apparently derive from there. Or a "right of return" to France,
since "Parish" for that matter, is an anglicisation of "Paris". Come to
think of it, we humans are a foreign species in all continents besides Africa
- should we repatriate ourselves en masse to Africa to allow the much-abused
flora and fauna of the rest of the world to recuperate?

From my point of view, which is substantially that of the Warsaw Revolt, (and
the Kenyan Mau Mau, and the South African ANU, and so on ... ) anyone who
turns up with a Baruch Goldstein-type attitude to the local inhabitants,
deserves all he gets, and the sooner the better.

Ah, yes, Zionism's number-one goal was to make Iraq etc, Judenrein, wasn't
it?! To bring the "Exiles" home. And you have the nerve to complain when it
happens?
Do you really care for Sephardim, Mitzrahim, etc, or are you just after
anti-Arab ammo?

Yeah, right. "From Time Immemorial" is a subject done to death by American
Zionists. Simple things like mathematical accuracy, simple attention to
detail, and not being in love with one's own belly-button, are not important
to the said book's author.
