Ah, I forgot to update. I ended up swapping out the RF file upload for Tomahawk
old fashioned upload because I had to get something working. The modified RF
upload would break large file uploads with prematurely closed connections. I
don't know what the mechanism was, but it seemed to be happening around 10
seconds (or 2.6GiB). I probably missed something obvious to an RF developer,
but the investigation ended there unsuccessfully.
