Hello everyone, I've got an issue here. well maybe not.
I have this massive $20,000 stereo system. Thought it would be cool to put al of my CD's on my computer. It is nice not shuffling disks anymore. My concern is that I swear that Wav files sound better than FLAC files. Am I smokin somethin? Does it? Is it just the depth of sound quality that my system offers. Is it some uncommpression process going on that degrades the sound just a bit? Lossless is supposed to be well lossless. My only thought is that there is some process going on than is not quite getting the full fidelity to my system. Yeah the Wav files are filling the system up fast. Thinking of getting another 400GB drive. but wouldnt need it if I thought FLAC sounded as good. I'm using EAC to rip. Using Cable B/W system and SB2. Using digital out from SB2 to reciever. Thanks, Stewrt -- stewrt _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
