And so the DRM debate rages on. Nazi DRM is a blight on the music
industry and it's completely unfair to the consumer.

You can't blame Slim Devices, only Apple, Microsoft and the naive
consumers who continue to buy music from them for whatever reason.

But the tide is turning. DRM won't go away any time soon, but the way
it's heavy-handedly implemented WILL change. It will have too, there is
already much talk in the mainstream press regarding the lower than
expected number of iPod owners who actually buy from iTunes. Jo Public
is finally starting to get a grip of what's happening here.

My only advice for people who have bought music from iTunes, without
realising that Apple are trying to make sure that you will forever be
locked into buying Apple devices to play your investment, is to use
myFairTunes6 or one of the other tools to remove the DRM for your
iTunes tracks. Then start voting with your wallet.
