Yes, and that was predictable behavior from a bug. A Logical error. Akin to "I gave Uncle Fred directions to the House, but I told him to turn right on Main Street so he got lost!" Given that set of instructions, Uncle Fred will always get lost. This is the nature of computer bugs: wrong instructions. Given that Slimserver is not sentient and doesnt even pretend to have any sort of learning capability or dynamic code.. it will, given a specific code release and a specific dataset always perform in the same manner. > > notice "This is a minor glitch...no longer a problem...although you > ^may^ need to make sure you have Disc in your title formatting".. > clearly its a buggy implementation. when things are buggy they don't > always work the way they should do. it's not to do with random bits and > bytes but rather coding errors :-) You did notice that is a bug that was fixed ages ago, right? Are you running something prior to 6.3? See the "no longer a problem" part. If you give Uncle Fred correct instructions, amazingly enough, he stops getting lost. -- snarlydwarf ------------------------------------------------------------------------ snarlydwarf's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1179 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=33436 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
