Yes, and that was predictable behavior from a bug.  A Logical error. 
Akin to "I gave Uncle Fred directions to the House, but I told him to
turn right on Main Street so he got lost!"

Given that set of instructions, Uncle Fred will always get lost.

This is the nature of computer bugs: wrong instructions.  Given that
Slimserver is not sentient and doesnt even pretend to have any sort of
learning capability or dynamic code.. it will, given a specific code
release and a specific dataset always perform in the same manner.

You did notice that is a bug that was fixed ages ago, right?  Are you
running something prior to 6.3?

See the "no longer a problem" part.

If you give Uncle Fred correct instructions, amazingly enough, he stops
getting lost.
