Thanks for the responses. For using music on the ipod or PC, I am committed to itunes. Not so for the sqeezebox (not yet purchased). I do not mind re-ripping my collection for use with the SB, just very frustrated with EAC and poweramp. Neither program working well, and struggling to find answers.
Spent a good deal of the day yesterday working with both these programs, never getting EAC to show CD info, so never able to use it. Poweramp works, but after having to uninstall and reinstall, can not get it configured the same way. In short, the ONLY reason I was considering itunes was that I can say it works, and works easily! I will keep trying, but not sure how many more days I am willing to spend to just find a way to use a program. OK, I am no genius, but I have installed and used many programs before, with very few making me feel as foolish as these two do :).
