I recently had my music collection ripped to FLAC and MP3 - FLAC for
streaming over the SqueezeBox network and MP3 for the portable player,
car, etc. I used Windows Media Player to load an MP3 player for the
wife. WMP is tolerable, although some of the tags are hosed. However,
when I pointed WMP to the FLAC directory, there was no way to tell it to
keep the FLAC library separate from the MP3 library I had already
scanned. That appears to be because WMP can't do that? Is it really
that poorly implemented that it can't manage separate libraries, or did
I miss something??? I'd really rather not have to manage the MP3
collection with one application and the FLAC with something else
entirely.

Thanks for listening...
