Hi everyone. I recently decided to give MP3Tunes a shot and converted my entire library from FLAC (which is not supported) to Ogg using Medi Monkey. I still have the FLAC originals. I chose Ogg as it seemed to be the best quality of the lossy formats supported by MP3Tunes.
The compression setting I used was -q10 (the lowest level of compression and therefore the highest resulting quality I believe). It is hard to do a comparison test (ie. logging into Squeeze Network, listening to a track and then getting back to Slimserver to listen to the same track) but I can't seem to hear much difference. Does anyone have any idea as to how much actual quality I might have lost in terms of real world listening? -- gthal ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gthal's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9454 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=36212 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
