By the way Nigel, assuming you're a newcomer to all of this, and are in
the process of ripping all your CDs from scratch, you may want to
change the "-6" in the command line to "-8".

Doing that will compress your files a little more, and so mean your CDs
end up taking up less space on your hard-drive.

The reason that the wiki lists "-6" is because those details were added
before the recent release of FLAC (v1.1.4) which brought about the
improvements in compression speed that made "-8" the preferred (for
many) option.
