You could of course just use both, as I do. I started of with ALBUMARTIST (although I don't remember where I found out about that tag) and that already worked in SS I believe, but then it appeared that both iTunes and Windows Media Player actually use the BAND tag as album artist (see the multi-platform thread i started).
