Someone comes up to you and tells you the name of another person standing at the bar was "John Doe". Sometime later someone else tells you that John Doe's wife was "Jane Doe". Even later you are asked by the host who the guy at the bar was. You say "John Doe, Jane Doe's husband". Although your information came from two different sources it is legitimate to use it as one because the information is linked together. It's the same with SS being you in the above example, the first person is file #1, "John Doe" is the ARTIST or ALBUMARTIST tag, the second person is file #2, "Jane Doe" is the ARTISTSORT tag and the host is you looking up some artists in SS.
