There's no difference at the decoding (SB) level. It can be a little
more cpu consuming (but that's not sure at all, it could be totally
transparent), but decoding time doesn't really mind (AFAICT).

It's like "zip" archiving. The "compression level" option doesn't
change the encode/decode algorithm (it remains the same... in the big
picture), it's just a more deep search of file similitudes.

It's like compacting a cardboard, or an inflatable mattress, you can
spend hours to compress it or compress it quickly, there's no big
difference when you deflate it. (I hope the image is understandable ;)
).
