A quick Christmas question for y'all. Sorry if there's an obvious answer in other threads, I did a couple quick searches and couldn't find a clear answer.
All my wishes came true today when I received a 500GB external HD for use with my ~3 month old SB3 (which I love). The drive I received is a WD My Book, with USB/Firewire/eSata connectivity. I am trying to decide whether to keep this drive, or exchange it for one with more storage space (~750G) but with only a USB connection. The larger drive could better support my ever growing music collection (several hundred CDs) which I am ripping to FLAC, but the slower USB connection may impede the ability to effectively access/listen to the files. (I have firewire and USB ports available for use on my windows-based PC which I use as a server.)
