When did they change the behavior of tracks in different directories?

I keep every albumin its own unique directory, but when two albums have
the same name, Slim Server (6.5.x) was still lumping all their tracks
together. I had to set unique "Album Artist" tags the tracks for each
album to keep them straight.

I haven't tested this in Slim Center (7.0) because everything is
already tagged as mentioned above. ;)

I did some googling yesterday and didn't find anything about the
availability of ID3 nor APE tags to store track and album dates
separately. I think to get any traction at all on this front would
probably require Apple to implement a special non-standard tag in hopes
it gets adopted by others. I wouldn't hold my breath for the move to
come from whomever standardizes the metadata, nor would a custom tag
from anyone else gain traction.

I'd be fine with Slim Center allowing the use of some other existing
tag as a holder for the secondary date though. With an option to enable
this of course, even if not presented in the UI.
