I've read up on and have tried numerous ripping/encoding programs but I just can't find the "all in one" program for my needs. I'm betting it doesn't exist. Does everyone do the Ripping Multi Step? I'll gladly pay for a good ripping/encoding program if it can do the following (or as close to it as possible). My *dream* ripping/encoding program would do the following (with excellent error correction):
1. Rip entire CD into three different formats (WAV, MP3, FLAC) as a single process (one click). 2. Accomplish #1 but put each format into separate folders on same drive. 3. Select individual but multiple CD tracks (just tracks 7 & 9) then do steps 1 and 2 above. 4. data, tagging, album art 5. Excellent error & jitter correction EAC seems to have the best error correction, but lacks steps 1, 2, and 3 above. I cannot for the life of me get the Lame codec to function with EAC. RipStation Micro can do 1 and 4 (and very nicely I might add) but lacks 2 and 3. I also question RipStations error correction as it FLIES through these rips quite quickly. I still need rips to WAV (stop laughing) as WAV's are needed for my current interface with my AVR. I'm not ready to go full board SS/SC for my music library. Album art is the LEAST important to me! Ideas? Suggestions? Comments? Maybe recommendations for best program for each of the above processes and I'll just use different programs for different steps?
