See I do not understand this argument. 2GB of RAM is less than 2-3 CDs and will probably end up saving you more time and heartaches beyond just ripping. I am not saying that Vista is bloated or not, however a machine must be a balanced machine and if you have a recent dual-core CPU you are really gimping it with only 1GB of RAM. Plus you have shared memory so you are even worse off.
