I would buy a nice new LiteOn SATA Dual Layer DVD burn driver for about $30. Most of the newer SATA dives I have used are much faster and more accurate than older drives. I would also use VortexBox instead of EAC.
I am not saying EAC isn't good. EAC is great, but you can get results just as good only faster from VortexBox. Rip a few disk with EAC then rip them with VortexBox then do a compare.
