Also, if you're going to be very particular about the accuracy of the rip, you should also be careful about the accuracy of the -tagging-. For SqueezeCenter (as for most media players) the tags define pretty much its whole world, as far as your library is concerned. Bad tags make for bad browsing, searching and accessing your library. And the tags that -any- ripping software puts in, it's getting from an Internet database (such as freedb), which, like everything else on the Internet, is usually of highly dubious accuracy and inherently atrocious typing. Many of the tags I've seen come in from freedb look like they were typed by an autistic monkey. So do plan on checking and correcting what you get for artist, album, genre, track name, and anything else. A large number of the problems and questions appearing on these forums turn out to be caused by bad tags, or bad tagging habits. If you take the time to get 'em right from the get-go, it will make your library much nicer to work with in the long run.
