The Plextor is the better ripping drive one of the two, no doubt in my book. But if you get accurate results (use accuraterip in EAC) using the laptop drive, then the result will be exactly the same. How's the speed when comparing the two? On some discs it might be that the last (or first) track won't rip accurately on the laptop drive and you might want to resort to the Plextor for those tracks or discs. Has to do with ability to read into lead-in / lead-out. The Plextor can do that for sure, not many laptop drives can. Anyway, if EAC says it's accurate, it doesn't matter from which drive it came, or at what speed that was. The files will be identical and perfect. Period. -Skinny -- Skinny ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Skinny's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21538 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60352 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
