Hey Phil, after long recherches: You´re right, my *.wav files are a container, my friend put multichannel sound in without telling me (nice surprise :0). Work great.
I could also get some facts for converting it: It´s not possible to convert multichannel *.wav in flac, because header information gets scrambeld. 2-channel wav can be converted of course. Remains the problem: If you want to stream multichannel you´ve to use`*.wav. But wav can´t be (ID3-) tagged. Even if you write album and title in filename, it´s not recognized by SBS. My only idea: Put multichannel in a separate folder and use the "Option" menu of controller to browse filenames. Not elegant, but working. Like in former times without ID3 - tagging :0) ... Hope that new format HD-AAC gets multichannel support ... -- Sturmhardt 2 x SBReceiver, 1 x SBClassic, 1 x SBController SBServer on WIN XP PC Soft: 7.4.2 Former user of Logitech Wireless DJ with 3 Receivers ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sturmhardt's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34608 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75966
