Another 3 days of fault - searching ... Results: 1. I didn´t use the correct DTS/ Dolby AC3 plugin for F2K. After fixing this, Foobar works and converts correct.
2. I had the expectation F2K is able to play it´s own multichannel FLAC-files but it can´t. Even if they´re correct converted. 3. I used wrong Windows Codec pack (chance: 50%). I deleted XP CODEC PACK and installed K-LITE CODEC PACK. Bottom line message: I can now convert multichannel WAV to FLAC. But I found the reason, why I couldn´t understand behaviour of SBR while playing surround: I made 4 folders with multichannel music in different formats: WAVs, DTSs, FLAC (ripped DTS-CD by EAC with FLAC plugin), FLAC (converted from WAV-files by F2K). I never changed something with this data. BUT: In seldom cases I can play all multichannel files, but not the DTS files (OK in my opinion). Next to dts even streaming of dts ex data is possible. In most cases (restart of SBS, SBR, SBC) it´s NOT possible to play multichannel data - and it not depends on selected folder (4 folder f. above). In these situation the time counter starts (no music, no static noise, even on analog output!), plays from 0:00 to 0:29, then reset to 0:00 -> starts again. When trying 2 or 3 files, SBR locks up: status LED is bright white like playing, but no response when pressing. You can only get receiver back to live by disconneting power cord. It not depends on using receiver via controller or web interface - even in web interface time-loop (0:00 -> 0:29) is running. Seldom you hear sound like on computer tapes in the 80s (NOT the static noise!) bevor receiver locks up. Hint: Analog output only used for testing, of course normally connected via optical link, volume 100%. I´m not shure if it depends on Logitech - because when SBS didn´t play multichannel FLAC, even Windows Media Player doesn´t play multichannel FLAC. When WMP plays, also SBS does. But like written - Windows is completely new installed. The onliest exception: VLC plays every file, everytime. For me: Not logical. But: nearly 20hours spend in searching ... I get sick of it. Last question: Which Logitech hardware/ SBS software are you using for playing multichannel?
