I tried downloading the following files from your link: 1. Rave Wave - Pro Logic II (WAV file @ 44.1kHz/16-bit Stereo) 2. Rave Wave - Dolby Digital Encoded (5.1 WAV file @ 44.1kHz/16-bit Stereo) 3. Rave Wave - Dolby Digital Encoded (AC-3 5.1 Surround @ 48kHz/16-bit) 4. Rave Wave - DTS (WAV @ 44.1kHz/16-bit Stereo)
1: Plays fine - unless it's played after number 4 - receiver stays in dts-mode and no sound is the result. 2. Doesn't play (white noise) unless played after number 4 - receiver stays in dts-mode and plays the file in surround mode (strange!) 3. AC3 not supported by Squeezebox Server and hence doesn't play 4. Plays fine all the time - like my own dts-files I should perhaps also mention that the receiver plays AC3 without problems when the source is either my DVD player or my PopcornHour. It would still be nice if somebody had some flac files encoded from ac3 using the procedures discussed in these forums and played successfully from a Squeezebox. But back to the original question regarding conversion of ac3 to dts - how is this done? -- tipsen ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tipsen's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15643 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=76537 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
