Wait. I found it. mp3tag wasn't showing the Album Artist field except in the detail tag window. Now I'm in business. Sort of.
I don't want my music to appear multiple times in my library. So I'm trying to have it only appear by whatever I put in the Album Artist field, and I want SBS to totally ignore the Artist field (except that I'll manually configure to MusicInfoScr to display Artist on the Boom.) Is this possible? So for example, the Garden State soundtrack: I would set Album Artist to "Garden State" and then each track would get its recording artist in the Artist field. This album should ONLY show up under Garden State as I browse my library, I don't want the Coldplay track to also show up under Coldplay. I have "group compilation albums together" and "list albums by band" selected, and my complilation albums have the compilation flag set in their tags. Why is this so difficult?
