In a way, yes you are trying to do the impossible because there is logically no "Artist" called "Pearl Jam (Bootleg)". The Artist is always logically "Pearl Jam". It is logically the Album that is a bootleg - not the Artist. In a logical data model, you would change the Album Title to reflect its bootleg status, not assign it to a different artist.
