Been there, done that. aubuti is right, there isn't much in iTunes that helps with accurate ripping. When I made the move I would estimate that between 12% and 15% of my tracks had some kind of error that dbPoweramp could not overcome.
Then there's tagging - another few hours there if you like artwork etc to go with your tags. In my case I found it well worth my time to go back and rerip 400+ disks. No errors, nice FLAC tags, artwork, and good clean rips. With a good quality CD/DVD reader it takes less time than you think to re-rip. -- tedfroop "Good judgement is the result of experience ...
