A quick note on my use of Puddletag. I am a particularly fussy tagger - using custom tags (for classical music) and several multiple-value tags.
I moved to Ubuntu on my main PC a couple of months ago; it's dual-boot now, so I can easily go back to Windows for those few things you can't get in Linux. A decent tagger is no longer that. In many ways I actually prefer Puddletag to MP3Tag. The easy configurability of both the columns and tag panel means that I have it looking exactly how I want, better than MP3Tag. I can have my custom tags near to the similar standard tag, which promotes easy copying and checking. Overall, while my process of tagging albums under Puddletag is slightly different, it achieves the same result in the same time. One more reason not to use Windows gets a thumbs-up from me :) -- adamslim Touch, Caiman, 845 SET, Lowther monsters SB3, Charlize 2, One Thing Quad ESLs Boom x 2, Radio ------------------------------------------------------------------------ adamslim's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7355 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79733 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
