What the OP requested can be done in SBS, without mangling any tags. If the music were in a different format, iTunes could do it too, easily taking care of the majority of users. The fact that other minority-use software sometimes doesn't handle correctly-tagged files properly is definitely something that users suffer with, and they use many workarounds including tag-mangling (or using more capable software). SBS even deals with most mangled tags fairly gracefully, so it's really the most compatible of the software out there. That said, the OP didn't mention any software other than SBS, so I suspect you may just be drifting offtopic in search of a fight. -- CatBus ------------------------------------------------------------------------ CatBus's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7461 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=84838 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
