since i want to view artwork when browsing, which is done in the
home>albums view at the root, the above are good SBS reasons why i
wouldn't not tag AA = A on multi-artist albums.  like i said earlier, i
figured there would be unintended/undesirable consequences.

of course the whole browsing paradigm of SBS is lacking to say the
least, so hopefully one day it improves so that a user can browse any
reasonable way they want.
