Sure, you restore the files from your last good backup. I take it that
you must not have a good backup?

I think you could have the chain of events backward. Maybe these files
were corrupted before they were moved. I can honestly say I've never
had multiple files become corrupted during a move or copy operation.
Occasionally, if the operation is interrupted for some reason, a
_single_ file may become corrupt. Still, I almost never move important
files. Instead, it's better to copy them, make sure the copied files
are good, then later delete the originals.
