Skip the robot... my collection is similar to yours and i worked my way through it during a winter... incorporate it into your life while it last e.g. when there are commercials on the telly, go and start the next scan; it is also good exercise ;-)
I am also using dBpoweramp and for most modern music the covers and tags that it finds are ok. Just verify the tags before you start the rip.
