this exchange just goes to show what a mess the whole current system is. i agree with erland, that there should be only ONE artist. the option refers to a category name, not an artist. the category name/link shouldn't be in a list of artists. this is why i support Phils idea for bug 15604, it makes a clear distinction between an artist list, and a category, and i think Phil is also right that it will make the DB less complex, less queries needed. Phil is right when he says the lists for home>artists or home>albums should be built with NO REGARD AT ALL as to comp status, but instead on the basis of the SBS DB AA values. if people want to browse comps, that should be its on home>comps category. -- MrSinatra www.lion-radio.org using: sb2 & droid (my home) / duet & ipeng (parents' home) - sbs 7.5.5b - win7 & xp pro sp3 ie9 - p4(ht) 3.2ghz, 2gig ram - 1tb wd usb2 raid1 - d-link dir-655 - 49k+ mp3/flac ::VOTE FOR 'BUG 15604' (http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=15604)!!!:: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MrSinatra's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2336 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88072 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
