I use a Vortexbox Appliance and an iMac, and I want mp3s for my iPhone. I´ve been using the Vortexbox FLAC-mirror configured with mp3 quality 320Kbits/s but encountered some problems.
I wanted to add my mp3s to the iTunes library with read-only access, using the VortexBox > music > mp3 share but it seemed as if iTunes only recognised a small selection of files, whereas if I add the VortexBox > files > music > mp3 share the number of recognised files increase substantially. Why is there a difference?
