I believe it is supposed to, but I do find that often times my DB will add the fixes without removing the problems.
I think that was exactly my problem. Like so much with LMS, I only think that, not know. Next time I have tag problems, I'll try the same thing again, but won't be surprised if I don't get the same result and am yet again proved wrong. Yada yada...
