I would like to thank smst for providing the spdifconvert script and instructions for enabling AC3/DTS tracks to play via SqueezeBoxes. I have used this to add dozens of surround albums to my library.
Recently I found a new tool for doing the spdif wrapping and flac conversion. It can also convert multichannel flac and wav files to AC3, and has many functions that I have not explored yet.
