Here is another thing that others may find useful. As you have learned by now, to play spdif-wrapped AC3/DTS files you have to run at 100% volume and with *replay gain disabled*.
Well, there is a way to enable replay gain in the player but tag the AC3/DTS files in such a way that it has no effect on them... You will need a flac tag editor. I use MP3tag. First go into Tools -> Options -> Tag Panel: [image: http://i.imgur.com/PXKoT.png] Click on the little "page-with-a-star" icon [image: http://i.imgur.com/tXmrR.png] three times to add three new tags to the panel.
