I have been ripping my CDs to FLAC for Squeezebox but then I convert the Flac files to 320 bps MP3 files (using MediaMonkey and LAME) so that I can listen to them on my iPod. Is there any difference in sound quality, if I were to just rip the CD directly to MP3? It probably takes the same amount of time using both methods. Thanks.
