Firstly ensure all file permissions are what they should be - there's a recent post in the Linux forum addressing this with a simple command line Use puddletag - there is no better tagger out there ;-) Check that it is configured NOT to preserve file date/ timestamps or alternatively be prepared to do a clear and rescan under LMS. Load entire library into puddletag, select all files Select remove all id3 tags and remove all ape tags Rescan your library
