If you're using, primarily MP3 or AAC files on the Mac, there's a GREAT APP called iVolume that will look at the iTunes embedded gain, if there is any, and change it. I'm sorry there isn't anything for a Mac dealing with FLAC files.
I use this for ALL AAC and MP3 files having it keep all tracks within an album together... especially since a 'mastering engineer' has already matched the 'performance level' from tune-to-tune. Once the gain header is changed, you then set the Server to look at TRACK GAIN, since each track within an album would match, but would also look at track gain for compilations individually. It works for me... -- Eric Seaberg Eric Seaberg - San Diego -A.E.S., S.M.P.T.E., S.P.A.R.S.- [email protected] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Eric Seaberg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7896 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=93653 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
