I am asking this just out of curiosity to understand what's going on
whit my files. I had a bunch of different FLAC files which of course
included the usual tags (Title, artist, etc.). I have converted those
to WAV using Foobar2000 as I wanted to process them with Wavgain.

When I opened those wav files (again using foobar2000) a few of them
had tags attached to them??? I didn't even know it was posisble to have
tags in a WAV format.

Using Foobar2000 I removed the tags on those few wav files but nmy
question is: Should I be worried about what really the flac have been
converted to?

How is possible for foobar2000 to show tags for files which format
(Wav) does not have provision for adding metadata (as far as I know)?

Thanks for any help clarifying this.
