Incredible. I have been doing this for years I never seen that there
was such option. Thanks a lot for that.

Yes, it is two nonSB player. ONe is a Samsung telephone using
Squeezeplayer, and the other is a Philips using DLNA. I have no idea
how things are streamed to those two devices.

Thanks for that. I didn't know. They younger one is using an iPhone so
that should be fine, the older one is using a USB key to plug into the
player in the car. Again no idea whether that player can or cannot read
replaygain tags, but I can certainly make a test. 

... but in the end of the day as you see many devices and many doubts
on whther things are handled correctly or not. That's why I prefer to
correct the problem at the source and not have to wonder what is
playing where...
