wav files *can* be tagged (e.g., foobar, dbpa and others). The problem
is that the tags are not standard and sometimes only show up in certain
players and not others.  (of course in my opinion moving from FLAC to
WAV is a bad idea (particularly if you're thinking WAV sounds better
than FLAC based on nonsense read in audiophile forums on the internet),
but its your music).
