used to be. Less disposable income is a fantastic tool in a more
discerning purchasing policy :). In the days before the internet my
musical sphere was pretty limited and restricted to purchasing from the
extremely limited stock of B&M stores. I was so desperate for "new"
music that I bought around 35 Hawkwind albums - that'd be 33 more than I
really should have! Hence, I did get a lot of music that wouldn't
necessarily be described as "awful" as such, but mediocre might be more
accurate a term. Now every single album purchase is researched and
tested beforehand and I'm even selling stuff on Amazon marketplace -
something I thought I'd never do.
