place - the FLAC/CUE files are from albums obtained elsewhere. I would
never rip to that state - all my ripping does it to individual files.
Also, splitting the one single FLAC file doesn't lose any data. The
advantage is that I have all the files individually named and tagged,
when I look at an album I see it as I would had I just ripped it myself.
I've no idea how you would use a single FLAC/CUE file in conjunction
with random play if you wanted each track to appear in the initial
playlist - can it be done? Not that I'm going to change - it works
perfectly how I do it :)

Mind you, there are loads of threads on here relating to functionality
of the Touch that I'll never, ever use - people seem to want bells and
whistles in every aspect, whereas I just want to play my playlists via
my main Hi-Fi - horses for courses!
