I can say that with 70,000+ tracks and still ripping, I've made the decision to not use artistsort or albumsort. Initially it bothered me to find Jimi Hendrix in J rather than H. But over the years of using digital music files my brain has adapted and I now think in terms of alphabetical by first name listing. I've even arranged my physical CDs (in jewelsleves inside filing cabinets) the same way to match the digital file order (alphabetical by first name, not counting "the" "a" etc in front of band name..."The Beatles" are under "B").
