I have added a convert rule from flc to ogg in custom-convert.conf, like
the existing rule flc to MP3.
Code:

I would expect that this rule should be used only if a squezzebox is
unable to play flc natively or if a squezzebox asks explicitly for ogg
files. Therefore, that rule should never be used, because all
squezzeboxes (hardware or software) support flc natively. *However, what
happens is that all flc files are converted to ogg.* That is strange to
me, because before my additional rule, no flc files were converted to
lets say MP3.
Is this behavior a bug?
All my Clients are connected via Ethernet with no bandwidth
constraints.
I can work around this problem for squeezelite players by restricting
the used codecs to

Obviously, without ogg. Then flc files go to those players as flc,
without conversion.
For my hardware devices Squeezebox 3, Radio and Touch, that does not
work.
Does anybody has an idea how to solve this?
My Music archive is based on flc and ogg, so, this work around is no
good solution anyway.
Why do I do this? I use Squezze Comander for stirring my player and to
download music to my mobile phone, with conversion from flc files to
smaller ogg files including all tags.
Is there a way, to change the rule to something like, do NOT USE THIS
RULE IF YOU are Player with MAC? So far I found only the way to force a
rule to a certain MAC like flc ogg * MAC. I even tried to restrict the
rule to the mobile phone MAC, but then the download does not work
anymore, because Squezze Comander loads the files with http protocol and
not like a virtual squezze-player.
