Hello BPA,
thanks for your help. As you can see (post 1) I have found a way to get
FLAC files downsampled to MP3 with tags. This is only needed for
downloading the music to my mobile phone (to save space).
But maybe you can find the reason for the strange thing if I add the flc
ogg * * rule.

PROBLEM IN A NUTSHELL:
*normal way of logitechmediaserver:*
convert.conf rules:
flc mp3 * *
flc flc * *
transcoding from lossless (like flac) to lossy format (like MP3) happens
only, if the player is unable to play flac.
after adding the ogg converting:
flc mp3 * *
flc ogg * *
flc flc * *
the last nativ rule flc flc * * will never be used any more, It seems to
be gone, but as you can see here (mozilla.pdf), it is activated.
