A bit off-topic mas the history goes on, lots has happened:

Oracle has donated the open office code to apache foundation..real it all in

As for the Microsoft Access usage, I think we could have a web tool for all
those specific Rivendell mysql usage, though, I don  know where to begin its
architecture..
