Import from mp3 is possible. Audio is stored as wav. You can get from 
podcast to on air

You can migrate the audio. The logs are a start again although you could 
possibly figure out a migration, but it's so fast to build a clock(s) 
why would you bother.

Go for the Centos 32 bit if you can. Ubuntu studio is fine for 
production but difficult for playout / server because Ubuntu uses pulse 
audio, and Rivendell uses Alsa / Jack and they don't work together.
